Join Plastic Cutlery

Ето един практичен проект, който самосиндикално отсрамва пластмасовите прибори за хранене с приятен външен вид и интересна концепция.

High-quality cutlery has a long-standing tradition in Germany, but cutlery made of plastic has always had a bad reputation. German designers Carsten Schelling, Sven Rudolph and Ralf Webermann of DING3000 aim to change all of that with Join. More than simply knife, fork or spoon, this cutlery becomes a decoration for your table. Of course, it’s not as simple as it looks. This playful cutlery was inspired by brainteasers and three-dimensional puzzles. Produced by Konstantin Slawinski and developed in co-operation with BASF’s designfabrik, Join was recently awarded with the Design Plus Award.

Düller x IDEA

Винаги съм имал необясним фетиш, датиращ още от ранна детска възраст към всякакви видове тефтери, химикалки, писалки, мастилници, бележници и всякакви други канцеларски материали, предмети свързани с мириса на хартия и/или мастило. За жалост, когато вече би ми се наложило да ползвам бележник-органайзер за работа ще ми бъде по-удобно да го водя с Google Calendar и тем подобни онлайн приложения за организация на времето.

От друга страна, ако сте традиционалист или с подобна на моята слабост обаче, вероятно бихте проявили нездрав интерес към новата серия материали на Düller и IDEA, с участието на Дитер Любс (бивш главен дизайнер на Браун, по времето на Дитер Рамс), която съчетава успешно японската чувствителност и немския функционализъм.

Writing instruments have never looked better. Düller and IDEA have come together with Dietrich Lubs, former chief designer for the legendary Braun, to form the marriage of Japanese sensibilities and German functionalism in a carefully detailed stationery collection. To cement the design credibility of the range, the Braun design maestro was commissioned to create a series of writing tools featuring a rollerball, fountain pen, and mechanical pencil.
